CheckMail plug-in notifies you about new mail in your mailbox. It checks your POP3 account for new letters without actually download.
It means that this plug-in is capable to determine letters count in your mailbox even prior to your default mail client! CheckMail supports unlimited number of mailboxes to check and for each mailbox you can
define it's own actions to perform: you can choose to play sound (different for each mailbox) or to execute some application, for example, email client or to show notification message (see below). CheckMail allows you
to set a minimal count of letters in your mailbox to perform an action, i.e. if you enter 10 to the corresponding field all actions you've specified will be performed only if a number of letters in your mailbox will be 10 or more.
The notification message is a unique feature of the CheckMail plug-in. It allows you to see a ticker - a running line containing information about letters count in
each of your mailboxes. See the picture below to get a view of how it will look. To adjust the notification message go to the third tab in the plug-ins options window - change the font color, background color and font style according to your tastes.
Please note, that you may place the ticker window wherever you like. To do it click the button captioned "Define window position", then position it where you want and click "Ok" button.
Note that you can only set the horizontal size of a ticker window, because it's vertical size is set automatically according to the font size.
