OK, you have successfully installed the Dialer Queen and have already ran it. In this case
you must already see Dialer Queen's main window in the top left corner of the screen:
Note, that connection names (Connection 1 and Connection 2) displayed in the main window may differ from shown, depending on
how many connections you've had and how you've named them. If you have not had any connections
set up in the system, the connection list of Dialer Queen will be empty.
Though Dialer Queen automatically determines connections set up in system and also their parameters,
however it is better for you to check connection properties manually.
To do this, click the connection name of your interest in the list (it will be displayed with a
bold style), and then click the third (from the top) button in the column of buttons to the
left of the connection list .
The following window will appear:
This window contains such connection properties as: user name, password and phone number (or numbers) to dial.
Please, ensure that all data were determined by Dialer Queen properly. If some field is empty or
contains a wrong data, please enter a correct value to the appropriate field.
Note: you may get all necessary information (user name, password, domain) from your ISP.
If your connection does not have any phone numbers (i.e. the phone numbers list is empty) then you should add
at least one phone number to the phones list. Let's do this. First, click the "Add" button to the right of phone numbers list. The following window will appear: Enter your phone number in the appropriately named field. Now you should setup the active period of this phone number. Phone number's active period means a period during which this phone number should be used. If you plan to use this phone number all the day leave the option "Always active" checked. Note: if your phone line uses a pulse dialing you should check the option "Use pulse dial". Click the "OK" button to add this newly created phone number to the list. Good! You've filled up all necessary fields.
Now click the "Save" button at the bottom of the window
to save entered information for future use.
What to do if there are no connections in the connection list?
Not a problem. Just add a new connection to the list. To do this, click the top button in the
column of buttons to the left of the connection list . The
standard Windows dialog "New connection" will appear. Follow the instructions on screen to add
a new connection to your system. After the standard wizard finishes, Dialer Queen's connection properties
dialog will appear (see the picture above). Enter the user name, password and if necessary domain in the
appropriate fields, then add a new phone number as described above and then click the "Save" button.
